Tassie Adventure - Tall Ships, Tall Dams, Helicopters and White Water!

This a Full On, Action Packed, Adventure Package

Day 1 - After flying into Hobart Day one starts with an adventure Cruise on the Square masted sailing ship "Windward Bound". You will set sail from Constitution Dock and head for the open sea as part of the crew of this authentic sail training ship. You will be able to climb the rat lines and help man the sails. As flogging, keel hauling, bully beef and hard tack buscuits were all outlawed on Tasmanian sailing vessels in the 19th century, the captain has agreed to find a pleasant place to anchor to let the land lubbers enjoy a buffet lunch. Upon return to Hobart you will check in to the Historic Lenna Hotel. Dinner will be at Irish Murphy's Pub.

Day 2 - After breakfast at The Lenna you will be whisked out to Cambridge Park to Helicopter out to Strathgordon. The flight is sensational with views of some of the world famous Tassie wilderness. The helicopter will deliver you right to The Gordon Dam where you will be able to do the worlds highest commercial abseil. From the dam you will be bussed back to Strathgordon Chalet for lunch and check in. After lunch you can choose between kayaking on Lake Pedder or a spot of fly fishing for the monster rainbow trout in the lake. Back at the Chalet for dinner with some after dinner fun and games.

Day 3 - Choose between a continental breakfast at the chalet or maybe you would like to cook your own survival breakfast. After checkout at the chalet, you will bus to New Norfolk for some White Water Rafting on the lower Derwent. After a gourmet riverside picnic lunch you will bus back to Hobart airport.
