Low budget – doesn’t mean low results!!

Case Study - A combination of prizes and travel incentives

The Client

Enware Australia & Plumbers’ Supplies

The Challenge

A short-term incentive that can generate 10 times its cost is considered to be a low budget incentive. This was true for a client that had previously never run an incentive in the industry. This three month promotion was a huge success for the client generating in access of $250,000 in sales.

Our challenge was to incentivise and motivate both the customers (plumbers), and Plumbing Supplies trade outlets. We used Counter display cards with DL Flyers, which were displayed at POS, and made available at the 29 trade outlets in NSW.

A relatively short promotion (3 months) giving plumbers the chance to win a $100 or a $250 gift vouchers for a designated spend on Enware product. Anyone that reached the designated target automatically went in the draw to win 1 of the 4 – All expenses paid weekend for two at the Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast.

In addition to the incentive rewards for customers, the four stores that supply the 4 winners for the Royal Pines weekend received a team incentive prize ranging from an espresso machine, to a team dinner for 14 at a prestigious restaurant.

The Outcome

A low budget incentive that motivated the customers & stores to increase spend on Enware product…. is a success all round. ‘Rewarding the winning stores meant that the stores were behind the promotion & were rewarded for their effort”.
